How do I donate to Sadaqah Jariah?
Donations are accepted by bank transfer to an AU account in the name Nizaha Aslam Bhatti. Please include a clear reference such as Zakat, Sadaqah, Ramadan Food Pack or Qurban 2026. The full bank details, PayID and reference list are on the Donate page.
How can I do Qurban from Australia?
We collect Qurban contributions in Australia and the sacrifice is performed in Burewala, Punjab, Pakistan on Eid ul Adha. All meat is distributed to families in need. Tiers for Eid ul Adha 2026: Sheep $220, Goat $320, Cow share $250, Whole cow $1650. Tier details and the WhatsApp booking link are on the Qurban banner on the homepage.
Where does the meat from Qurban go?
The Qurban meat is distributed by the on-ground team in Burewala, Punjab, Pakistan to families who would otherwise not have meat on Eid. The sacrifice is performed by Muhammad Umair Aslam Bhatti.
Is Sadaqah Jariah a registered charity?
No. Sadaqah Jariah is a personal trust-based collection run by Nizaha Aslam Bhatti. It is not a registered charity in Australia and donations are not tax-deductible. The work is community-led and intentionally light on overhead.
Can I pay using Zakat?
Yes. Many projects accept Zakat, particularly food support, medical support and monthly hardship cases. Please use a clear bank reference (such as Zakat) so the funds are directed appropriately. If you are unsure about Zakat eligibility for a specific project, get in touch via the Contact page before transferring.
What is the cost of one Ramadan food pack?
Each Ramadan food pack costs about $30 and includes flour, rice, oil or ghee, lentils, salt, sugar, dates, and tea. Packs are prepared for families of 4 to 8 people. The 2026 target is 500 food packs across Burewala and Bahawalpur. Read more on the Ramadan campaign page.
Who runs Sadaqah Jariah?
Sadaqah Jariah is run by Nizaha Aslam Bhatti, who collects donations in Australia and coordinates distribution in Pakistan. The on-ground work in Burewala is led by her brother Muhammad Umair Aslam Bhatti. The site sits alongside a wider partner network of Kind Corner, 9T5 and Mercy of Allah, but each entity is independent.
Where are the projects delivered?
Most projects are delivered in Burewala (Punjab) and Bahawalpur (Pakistan). Specific work includes wheat flour distributions, Ramadan iftaar at Government Hospital Burewala and a blind children's shelter home in Bahawalpur, the Stitch and Sew Centre in Burewala, monthly support cases, and Qurban sacrifice and meat distribution in Burewala.
